Amulets

Sometimes I get nervous and anxious when I need to go out , especially after I came to the UK. It’s a completely different new environment. I started to make some amulets to carry with me so when I hold them they can make me feel safe and comforted. I used watercolor to do the drawing based on my warm memories with different places I like on the clay pieces I made . Each one is made from a photo . I wish when I’m in a new place they can bring back my warm memories to me and give me courage, help me go through the anxiety and fear .I think the process of making this work is a comforting process of self-healing .
